1st piano concert

I started take piano lessons 5 weeks ago. Today was  my 1st piano concerts ever. It was really exciting and nerve-wracking.  I played Jingle Bells and Christmas Lullaby.  It went great. The besy part was the after party with lots if junk food.  Playing piano get's the Veda 2 thumbs up!

Thanksgiving Hare and Hound

This is a special treat. We normally are at home for Thanksgiving but decided to head to our summer house in Chautauqua New York to celebrate this year. We went to a restaurant called The Hare and Hound for our Thanksgiving meal. We could order anything off the menu or the Thanksgiving feast...the Thanksgiving feast please. The food was amazing. The service was just okay. The company was out of this world (hi family)! I give this place the Veda 1 1/2 thumbs up!

Steak by Veda

Hey it's me Veda.  I would like to start posting some of my favorite meals that I like to make. Here's my steak recipe.I hope you like it.
                                                                            Steak
                                                                       Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of lemon / lime juice
-3 steaks
- 3cups of boiling water
-1 cup of pasta
-your favorite vegetables [any kind] [chopped]
-salt and  pepper to taste
-1 tsp. vegetable oil

                                                                Steps
1.Put steak in a lasagna pan and cover with juice and seasonings .
2.Grill steak for 20-45 mins. Depending on thickness.
3.Put oil and chopped vegetables in a frying pan and cook. Cook until tender.
4.Boil pasta and cook according to box.
5.Plate your meal.

Lancaster Brewing Company-in the kid world-LBC-Last Day of School Celebration

Tuesday June 10th was Veda last day of school. It was also Veda's last day at Burrowes Elem. She is sad to leave, but excited to make new friends. We have decided since we'll be staying in our house for a few more years, that private school would be best. So that new adventure will start in August. Anyways, we always celebrate the 1st day of school and the last day of school by going out to eat. Veda always get's to pick the restaurant and she can order whatever she wants to eat. Unable to celebrate on Tuesday, we decided to head out on Thursday. Lancaster Brewing Company was her pick. Why? Because they have the best Shirley Temples! Who knew.

Meal- bacon mac & cheese (totally yummy) and London broil sandwich (delicious). Totally forgot to order the drink. Oh well guess we'll have to go back. This place got the Veda two thumbs up!

Sukhothai Restaurant Celebration

Veda has been so busy with school, dance & basketball that she hasn't had much time to blog-so what happens?  The mom thinks about it and post something!

News-Veda tried out for a talents show. She wrote her own song called Invisible. We told Veda if she got in we would take her any place she wanted to eat and buy her a new outfit. WELLLLLLL she got in and we had to pay up!

Favorite foods are the Crab & Cream Cheese Won tons, Spring Rolls and pretty much anything on the menu that isn't too spicy.

It's the Veda, 3 thumbs up! Enjoy!

Ackerman's House

Note from my mom.

We were invited to our good friends the Ackerman's for dinner on a Friday night.  Liz is an amazing cook. She's always make great food from scratch. This meal included chicken w/ a cheese and sun dried tomato stuffing, rice, green beans, homemade bread, and homemade apple pie. We left with very full tummies. Thank you Ackerman's for share a great meal and good times with us!
